MARINE CABLES

Marine cables are designed for a wide range of applications on board ships. They are used for power supply, data transmission, instrumentation and control. They are resistant to salt water, moisture and temperature fluctuations. Halogen-free and flame-retardant materials prevent toxic gases in the event of fire and slow down the spread of flames. Our marine cables are approved and certified by the German Armed Forces (BAAINBw) and meet the highest standards that can be expected of a marine cable. They are subject to the strictest and permanent quality controls to ensure flawless and long-term function in demanding maritime and military environments. They are extremely resistant to mechanical stresses, abrasion, vibrations and shocks that frequently occur on ships and in military environments. Halogen-free and flame-retardant materials are particularly important for safety on board. Resistance to salt water, moisture, UV radiation and extreme temperature fluctuations are further properties of VG cables, in addition to excellent EMC compatibility.
